From Vintage to Urban Industrial Chic

The utilitarian office chair of the 50s and 60s had no equal. They were built with a frame that was rugged, solid and made to last. These chairs took a lot of wear and tear but eventually

the upholstery had to be replaced. Here's what Bobby L. had to say when he found an old office chair that sparked a memory.

I found this vintage steno office chair. It’s the exact style that I was taught how to upholster on for the Prudential building in Chicago in 1972. I felt I had to resurrect it for old times sake.

From old, cracked, and tired to something that would look great as a hip and fun piece perfectly at home in an urban loft or a quirky modern office space. This is the "it" chair of the year. It's now got an upbeat and sassy style thanks to the master's touch. This little vintage treasure now has a lot more personality.

I wonder what other vintage item might turn up in the CBL workshop ready to take on new life as a dazzling new addition to someone's urban modern decor?
